At uncertain times like these, a sense of belonging can make the difference.

From day one of social distancing Mundo Verde has worked to provide continued learning and a strong safety net for students and their families. Distance Learning is reaching a vast majority of our students and our staff members are working with families who are experiencing hardship and obstacles to learning to identify solutions and support them through these challenging times.

While social distancing keeps us from seeing everyone at school, our wonderful Mundo Verde Community remains connected through empathy, collaboration, generosity, and appreciation. We thank you for your support of our community and for joining us for #GivingTuesdayNow.

Show your #GivingTuesdayNow generosity in meaningful ways:

• Engage with others families: Dedicate some time to think of other families and consider reaching out. Plan a virtual playdate or a call with someone that your child has not been in touch yet.
• Support our COVID Relief fun: Give to the Mundo Verde COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund helps support our most vulnerable families and staff by turning your donations into grocery gift cards, technology to use for optimal distance learning, and continued pay for hourly staff. Donate here.
• Thank a teacher: This is also Teacher Appreciation Week. Take time to write/draw a card or send an email or even make a video with your child and send some sunshine to your teachers.
